Dreams often take place in impossible places with their own landscapes and architecture. These places can be both similar and unique; not just from one another, but from moment to moment. A million slight alterations of one concept then bleeds into another.
Inside these places reside people and creatures that act as unliving simulacrums of life. They're representative of something or nothing. They're one thing and then another. They drift from one sense at the whim of the subconscious.
Many of my ideas, for places, for stories, for games, and for characters come from dreams. Often that means there's not much substance to them, so I do what I can and move on.
